Andrew MaxwellDara O’Briain

Dara O’Briain has to be one of the busiest men in comedy. He started his career in television as a children’s presenter on RTÉ whilst performing his first stand-up gigs on the Irish comedy circuit. He quickly gained a reputation as a top stand-up comedian around the world and has performed sell-out shows across Europe, Asia, Australia, as well as in Dubai, Boston and New York. When not touring or televising, Dara can either be found fronting prominent awards ceremonies and corporate events, or devising more television projects with his company ‘Happy Endings’. Andrew MaxwellEd Byrne

As an observational stand up Ed Byrne is unrivalled. He has performed 5 hit UK tours, 2 solo runs at Dublin’s Gaiety and Ambassador Theatres and has made his London West End debut in a 2 week run at The New Ambassadors Theatre. He is a huge success on the international circuit where he has performed to capacity audiences in Dublin, Paris, Montreal, Sydney, Melbourne and New Zealand. At both the Melbourne and New Zealand Comedy Festivals Ed is their largest selling performer. Andrew MaxwellJohn Bishop

John Bishop performed stand-up comedy for the first time in October 2000 and within four months he was the headline act. Until this year he worked in a lucrative Marketing job during the day and spent his nights moonlighting in the world of Comedy. Now he has finally taken that long-awaited leap of faith, handed in his notice, and become a full-time stand-up. Paul TonkinsonAlan Carr

Alan Carr certainly has added sparkle to the comedy circuit and is quickly becoming a household name. Renowned for his camp demeanour and innuendo-based jokes. He has written for ‘Lily Live’, Lily Savage’s show and has done various voice-overs including 'Comfort'. Alan has his own monthly show at the Manchester Comedy Store ‘Alan Carr’s Ice Cream Sunday’, a night of comedy and cabaret that has established itself as a must-see show in Manchester attracting regular celebrity fans. A self-confessed professional northerner - and far worse, a celebrity Manchester United fan, Paul Tonkinson is a star of comedy in all its forms. Be it on stage, in character or as a TB host, this man does not fail to make you giggle. Having made his name as host of The Sunday Show, he took an even bigger step into the limelight when he replaced Johnny Vaughan briefly on The Big Breakfast.He is enjoying a lot of success at many corporate occasions. John Moloney is a highly sought-after comic and musician who has delighted audiences far and wide for the past decade. John appears regularly at Jongleurs and has performed many times at the Edinburgh Festival, playing to sell-out audiences. Born and bred in the East End of London, Ricky was an ex-champion boxer and hairdresser before taking the comedy scene by storm. Andrew MaxwellPaul Zerdin

Paul made his TV debut as a magician on BBC’s Tricky Business. However, within 6 months he appeared as a ventriloquist on Hanger 17 and shortly after that landed a two-year contract presenting the GMTV kids` programme Rise and Shine with his With his irresistible characters Sam, Albert and the Baby. Paul has worked on many TV commercials including Kellogg’s, Persil and Honda and was involved as a puppeteer in the film Muppet Treasure Island for the Jim Henson Company and was also the ventriloquial adviser to Anthony Sher in the BBC Film Genghis Cohn. Paul can be seen regularly at Jongleurs Comedy Clubs and with his unique style of comedy and its mass appeal Paul has become much sought after in the corporate and after dinner market all over the world. Andrew MaxwellJim Tavaré

Jim Tavaré is often described transcending mainstream and alternative comedy and is a modern day Tommy Cooper. He was the star of the BAFTA award winning ‘The Sketch Show’ and has had several of his own series on BBC and Channel 5. Best known for his double act with his double bass and her slightly smaller cousin the recorder. Jim has also appeared at three Royal Variety performances as well as becoming Prince Charles’ comedian of choice, performing at his private Christmas Party. Jim narrowly missed out on being a member of Manchester band ‘Joy Divisio’n and ‘New Order’. He appears in the ‘Harry Potter’ films as Tom, the surly inn-keeper of The Leaky Cauldron. Adam Bloom has performed sell-out solo shows at the Edinburgh Festivals for over ten years. He has delighted audiences in Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, Wellington & Cape Town as well as making three visits to ‘Just For Laughs’ in Montreal. In 2004, Adam was part of the ‘Just For Laughs Comedy Tour’, playing to 42,000 people in 17 cities across Canada. He has also written three series of ‘The Problem with Adam Bloom’ for BBC Radio 4. Andrew MaxwellGeoff Boyz

Scottish comedian and impressionist, Geoff Boyz made his solo debut at the Edinburgh festival in 1996. He has appeared in various TV panel games and stand-up shows and also acts as a studio audience warm-up man. Geoff continues to be in demand on the corporate circuit and last year performed at the Scottish Sports Personality of the Year Awards. Mark first made an impact on the comedy circuit in 2002 when he won the Daily Telegraph Open Mic competition and was a runner-up in So You Think You’re Funny? He is also a novelist, with his debut ‘Bullet Points’, published in 2003; he has written for TV and in 2007 landed his first radio series, ‘Mark Watson Makes The World Substantially Better’. Mike Gunn’s history is as interesting and entertaining as his comedy. A misspent youth and a series of grim jobs cultivated his cynical outlook on life and a perverse desire led him to the world of stand-up. Early in his career Mike was supporting the likes of Jo Brand and Alan Davies. He now headlines at Jongleurs and other top comedy venues and is rapidly reaching cult status on the circuit. In the wake of recent evidence of escalating drug abuse among teenagers, Mike takes his anti-drugs show to schools around the UK. Mike is a contributor for The Guardian.
